Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Part I: Leda's Path Walkthrough

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Part I: Leda's Path Walkthrough

This page is RPG Site's Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave walkthrough for Part I: Leda's Path. If you were looking for a different section, check out the following links.

Following the game's short Prologue section, you have chosen Leda as your Part I protagonist. Leda's team may be the overall best in the game, and her unique Perform Quests reward her with a lot of Gold and Renown. She cannot Farm or use Battalions like Cai and Theodora, but that makes her playthrough a little bit simpler to manage.

In any case, select the Eagle Obelisk and let's get started.

What this walkthrough will do:

  • Offer a minimalist walkthrough so you know what you need to do at any point in the game.

What the walkthrough will not do:

  • Offer anything more than the basic strategies and tips for battles.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 1 - The Vengeful Dancer

  • After all the opening cutscenes, you'll be exploring Kassite. Here, just head towards the objective for a cutscene. You'll gain Obsidian key item.
  • After several more cutscenes, you'll be in Leda's Chapter 1 battle.

[Combat] - Battle Vs Bjor

  • Victory: Defeat all enemies
  • Defeat: Leda falls in battle
  • Strategy: A simple battle. Use ZL to keep track of enemy ranges, and note that Sirocco comes with Heal magic.
  • Notes:
    • On Leda's first turn, she'll learn Song of Passion Blaze Art, which raises Str/Mag to the area around her.
    • After turn 1, you can use Fortuna's Blessing, which lets you rewind.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 2 - Battle at Coris Mine

  • After the cutscenes, you'll explore Kassite. Here, you can find yellow pick-up orbs with semi-random items.
    • Note: Don't fret too much about ensuring you pick up every single yellow orb at every opportunity. These are usually common items, and you'll pick up hundreds during your playthroughs. Keep an eye out, but you won't miss out on anything crucial if you accidentally glance over a few.
  • Talk to the people marked with main quest icons, then head to the exit.
  • After more cutscenes, you'll be in Coris Mine as a tutorial dungeon for Leda.

[Dungeon Tutorial] - Coris Mine

  • Check out our Dungeon Guide for more details on dungeons in general.
  • In dungeons, you'll pick up to five characters for your exploration party.
  • You can press Y to get a preemptive strike on an enemy, or to destroy barrels, crates, and crystals.
  • Make sure the "Show Path" option is selected with ZR. This makes it easier to see where you have been.
  • Each dungeon has one Rest Spot. You can use this to make food to replenish HP and Magic (but not LP). Each character will heal by the HP sum of the items selected, as well as Magic uses if they are a magic user.
    • Tip: Check the state of your party before using a rest spot so you know how much HP you need to heal.
    • In this dungeon, however, it is unlikely you'll need to heal.
  • If a dungeon has a back entrance, you'll see an Uncharted symbol in the top right corner.
    • Coris Mine does not have a back entrance, so you won't see that here.
  • Break every box and crystal you see for items. While there are certain food and smithing items that can be found in certain dungeons, what you actually get during any given exploration is random.
    • Coris Mine has "Smithing Stone, Black-Sand Steel, Windstone, Thunderstone, Sunstone as possible items.
    • Sometimes other common items can be found, like Thry Fruit or Roca, even though these are not listed with the dungeon info in-game.
  • Each dungeon will have a certain number of treasure chests, listed in the upper right corner. Unlike the collectable items, chests always have the same contents.
    • The three chests in Coris Mine are Vulnerary, Archer's Ring, Large Coin
    • The Archer's Ring is a good accessory for Buccar.
  • While dungeons do not have an enemy counter similar to the chest counter, the game will still tell you when all the foes have been defeated with a pop-up screen. If you haven't seen this pop-up, there is at least one enemy group remaining.
  • Links in Clash Battles cost LP, which is not easily replenished in dungeons. Generally, you'll want to save it for more difficult encounters.
    • However, this tutorial dungeon only has 3 battles, so Link away.
  • Tip: If you are playing on Standard difficulty, consider holding + to have the game 'Skip to Conclusion'. Assuming you aren't in a dungeon far above your level, you'll usually be fine. In the case one of your characters does die, you'll immediately be given the option to restart the battle.
  • Examine the stone with the quest marker when ready. Make sure you found all three chests first.

[Combat] - Battle Vs. Balboa

  • Victory: Defeat Balboa
  • Defeat: Leda falls in battle
  • Strategy: Let enemies come to you and pick them off.
  • Notes:
    • You can destroy barricades to get around more easily.
    • An archer near the chest drops a chest key. Open the chest with Mini Bow before defeating Balboa.
    • Balboa drops Lakshashi's Iron Fan.
      • I suggest giving this to Leda. It counts as a sword.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 3 - The Road to Caelus

  • During the chapter's opening scenes, you'll have an Event Clash, which is essentially a scripted clash.
  • After more scenes, you can explore Kalla's Temple. There's nothing to find, however, so head to the marker.

[Combat] - Battle vs. Olympia

  • Victory: The number of blue flames exceeds the number of red flames after 10 turns pass.
  • Defeat: The number of red flames exceeds the number of blue flames after 10 turns pass.
  • Strategy: Focus on keeping the outer flames blue, as they'll chain to turn inner flames blue, also.
  • Notes:
    • Leda's Blaze Arts can turn multiple flames at once.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 4 - The Indelible Past

  • After all the events and scenes, you'll be in the main city of Dagsion on 3/1. You still don't have free rein to explore the full city yet, however.
  • Pick-up Items: Around town, you'll find those yellow item orbs. These usually contain food items, smithing items, or gifts, and refresh at the beginning of each chapter, and are semi-random. I will not point out what precisely you can pick up each chapter, but keep an eye out. Soon enough, you'll become familiar with where the spawn points are.
  • Press ZR to access your map. Leda starts out in the Temple Rows area of Dagsion, in the north part of the city where the god shrines are.
  • For now, head to the Arena entrance at the marker and talk to Ultand to continue for several more scenes.
  • When you have control again, head to Lowtown at the S end of the map. A long series of scenes will take place at the marker.
    • You'll gain Red-Rose Bouquet gift item during the scenes.
  • Eventually, you'll get a tutorial Perform Quest for the Dagsion Tavern.
    • Note: Perform Quests are unique to Leda and are categorized separately from standard Subquests in the game menus.
Perform Quest - Dance at the Tavern

Objective: Speak to the tavern owner.
Reward: Song of Icewater, 200 Renown
End: 11/27
  • You'll gain another Performance Quest afterward. This also acts as a tutorial.
Perform Quest - Dance for Yaaman

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 200 Renown
End: 5/28
  • The game will force you to travel to Yaaman to complete this second Perform Quest. You'll also gain items and gold after the performance.
    • For this quest, you'll gain Vegetable Crate, Gift Box, 3000G.
  • Perform Quests also sometimes open up locations on the world map. The game will follow-up with a Search Tutorial at Choking-Wind Valley.

Free Time 1

Starts: 3/21
End: 4/4

Time/Turns Note - How the passage of time works

Before anything else, let me clarify how time works in Fortune's Weave. At the bottom left of the interface, you'll see a date, a time, and a remaining number of turns before the battle at the chapter end. Each day is broken up into four six-hour blocks: 0:00-5:59, 6:00-11:59, 12:00-17:59, and 18:00-23:59. Each of these blocks is a Turn.

(Honestly, instead of the actual running clock, you could think of days as being broken up into Night, Morning, Afternoon, and Evening.)

The short of it is that, bluntly, the clock time itself is meaningless. Only the Turns count really matters. While time appears to pass in real-time, this isn't actually the case. Until you perform an action that costs a Turn, the clock will actually stop on its own. So, you don't have to worry about 'wasting time' or 'losing turns' because the game time will only actually progress when you explicitly perform actions that cost time.

On that note, several actions around Dagsion do not cost turns (although they may cost money). These are things like feeding the Pale Raven, praying at a shrine, training at the Arena, and having Meals at the Inn, among several other things (note, not all of these will be available at this time).

Some actions do cost a Turn, however, such as resting in the Inn. The game will note this in the interface.

In short, don't fret about the clock itself. In fact, you'll see it stop at 5:59, 11:59, 17:59, or 23:59 if you haven't spent a turn.
  • At the start of Free Time, the game will throw a flurry of tutorials at you.
  • Marketplace now open
    • This is where you buy gifts. The Armory and Weapon Shop are also open.
  • Divine Services now open
    • This is where you can pray once-per-week. There are six gods, and each has a dedicated day of the week. Praying raises your favor with a god, which can allow you to use various Blessing effects (used similarly to Fortuna's). This action does NOT cost a Turn. While you can pray at any temple on any day, you'll get a bonus on the following days.
      • Aurora - Mon
      • Mars - Tue
      • Smyrnos - Wed
      • Jurah - Thu
      • Kalla - Fri
      • Credna - Sat
    • Bless Levels are global and carry over across Paths.
    • Also, anytime you are in Dagsion, keep an eye out on the map screen to see if one of the shrine icons in Temple Row is colored in. This means you can have an audience with the god, granting some Renown. This is just a small dialogue, but no reason to pass it up. This does NOT cost a Turn.
  • Foresight Tutorial
    • The Pale Raven can show you what's upcoming in the next battle once Free Time ends. This gives you clues on things to obtain or accomplish during Free Time.
    • You can also feed the Pale Raven once per week. This raises a character's support with Eshmel, which will be important in later parts of the game. This minigame works like Tea Time in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This action does NOT cost a Turn.
  • Adventure Guide Tutorial
    • Anna will give tips on things to do during Free Time. This is accessed from the menu.
  • Gift/Recruitment Tutorial
    • You can now start giving gifts to characters to raise support and eventually recruit characters.
    • In Leda's route, the game points you towards Catania, a spear user with low recruitment requirements. Go ahead and add her to your team.
      • Most battles in Fortune's Weave allow you to have at least six characters. With Catania in your squad, you have a good starting roster of six units. Of course, later battles will allow larger teams, and you are free to play with whoever you choose.
    • Check out our Recruitment Guide for full details.
    • Meals at the Inn are a great way to raise support with characters you are trying to recruit. Just note you need to give characters a gift first before they can be invited for a meal.
  • If you've completed Subquests on other paths, you'll automatically gain rewards here for completing them. This happens for every chapter.
    • If you replay the same route a second time, Subquests you've completed the first time will automatically be completed.
  • If this is your first playthrough, some Subquests appear on the Bulletin Board. These are simple tutorial quests that point you to various services. Here are the quick rewards:
    • Welcome to the Item Shop - Vulnerary
    • Swing by the Armory - Wooden Sword
    • Awaiting You at the Inn - Sand-Boar Meat, 10 Renown
    • Find Fellowship at the Temples - Ginji, 10 Renown
    • Gifts of the Marketplace - Ginji, 10 Renown
  • Map Notes
    • Orange dots on the map are characters you have not met yet. Many will eventually be recruitable, although you won't have enough renown/support yet. Be sure to talk to every orange dot you see.
    • Using the Map screen, you can fast travel based on Areas, Facilities, or People directly.
  • [Important] Optional Scenes
    • These scenes are noted on the map with a slow pulse. These can be easily missed if you aren't careful.
    • Note that the game does track which scenes you've seen (at the pedestal in the Obelisk Chamber), so you might as well try to get all of these. This guide will point them out in each chapter.
      • Head to the shopping area to see a scene with Mikaela.
      • Scene with Talimun in shopping area.
        • I believe this scene can be seen at any time except the very first turn of Free Time. So, look for it on a return trip to Dagsion before the end of the chapter.

Perform Quests (obtained at the Tavern)

Dance for Regia

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 180R (also Vegetable Crate, Gift Box, 3000G)
End: 5/28
Dance for Daimon

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 200R (also Simple Weapon Crate, Gift Box, 3000G)
End: 5/28
Simple Drink Recipes

Objective: Deliver Sweet Leaves (Found in Verdant Hollow, near Daimon after performing there). Need 3 Renown.
Reward: 180R
End: 11/27
Note: You won't be able to turn this in until the next chapter, when you have more Renown. Also, 11/27 is when Leda's route ends entirely, so basically, a quest like this has no expiration before then.

Subquests

Starting in Chapter 4, you may start encountering generic Subquests around town.

In RPG Site's testing of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave with two different players, we observed that Subquest availability was not simply tied to a certain protagonist. The subquests that become available to you appear to be semi-random, and it may depend on the order in which you complete Part I Paths. That means it's difficult to state exactly which Subquests you'll run into.

Check out our Subquest Guide page for more details.

Chapter Suggestions

  • A good general strategy is to be sure to return to Dagsion once-per-week during Free Time to perform your weekly actions. These include:
    • Feeding the Pale Raven.
    • Having Meals at the Inn
    • Giving Gifts
    • Training in the Arena (available in later chapters)
    • Seeing a Theatre show (available in later chapters)
  • Buy Bronze weapons at the armor shop for characters that need them.
  • Consider buying a Yaamanthemum from Yaaman, which is needed for a quest in the next chapter.
  • Consider clearing low-level dungeons near Dagsion, including the following, but don't worry if you don't get to all of them. You'll have plenty of time later:
    • Niraga Mine (5)
    • Collapsed Fort (6)
    • Heretics' Cave (7)
    • Galen Fort Ruins (8)

[Combat] - Battle vs. Lechner

  • Victory: Defeat Lechner
  • Defeat: Leda falls in battle
  • Strategy:  Mainly use the trees to raise your Avoid stats when battling. Use Olympia's and Sirocco's magic on the armored enemies.
  • Notes:
    • After defeating Lechner, you have to flee to the NE corner.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 5 - Women at Battle

  • This chapter starts with an Arena Training Tutorial. This action does not cost a turn and can be done once-per-week. It is similar to the lessons in Three Houses.
    • Sirocco is a good choice for the tutorial training session.
  • This is followed up by a Class Upgrade / License tutorial. Leda will automatically be classed to a Hunter.

Free Time 2

Start: 4/7
End: 5/7

  • Optional Scene - Stop by Kalla's Shrine for a scene with Kalla.
  • Beginner Classes - Be sure to upgrade Buccar, Sirocco, Mu, and Catania to Beginner classes. Do whatever you want, but some suggestions:
    • Buccar - Gladiator (Axe focus) or Ornius Rider
    • Sirocco - Well-suited for Diviner, but I think he makes a great swordsman too, which pairs well with his Goddess's Favor personal ability. I made him a Gladiator focused on Swords.
    • Mu - Gladiator (Fists focus)
    • Catania - Soldier
  • Shop Updates
    • Consider buying a Javelin and Hand Axe for whoever may need them.
  • Other
    • Collect yellow orbs for random items and gifts - do this every chapter
    • Always check your map for orange dots, as new characters may appear after certain dates.
    • Always keep an eye out for Shrines on the city map to be colored yellow, meaning you can have a quick audience with that god.
    • Remember to perform your weekly chores when you can:
      • Feeding the Pale Raven
      • Training at the arena
      • Working at Shrines
      • Giving gifts to characters you eventually want to recruit
      • Meals at the Inn

Subquests

  • Leda will get a unique Subquest during this chapter.
Monster in the Night

Objective: Defeat the Phantom
Location: Dagsion - check the eastern alleys in the Evening (past 18:00) for an Event Clash. Save beforehand just in case.
Reward: 1500G, 100R
End: 5/7

Perform Quests

Dance for Callianeira Port

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 200R (also Sweet Leaves, Gift Box, 5000G)
End: 6/28
Dance for Aguino

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 180R (also Sweet Leaves, Gift Box, 5000G)

Captains' Drink Recipes

Objective: Turn in Pepper Leaves, Renown 6.
Reward: Song of Icewater+, 180R, new drinks
End: 11/27
Note: You'll get Pepper Leaves in Chapter 7, so don't worry about this for a while.

Chapter Suggestions

  • A tip: the gifts available at the Tavern are cheap and replenish every chapter, so feel free to share these with characters if you don't want to give up anything too valuable.
  • Consider picking up a Flyssa in Zoste (in the Lambath Region) or Callianeria Port (in the Elektra Region). This is an armor-slaying sword that will be useful in the upcoming battle.
  • Consider picking up a Halberd in Raivo Port (near Aguino in Melias) for the same reason.
  • If you want a Hammer, you can use Kalla's Gate of the Gods to warp to the Thalia region, then buy from Grand Aragon to the W.
  • Remember to always check city shops for Map items in the Marketplace, which help out tremendously in getting around.
  • Some dungeons you should consider taking on include:
    • Rubess Forest (9)
    • Nowah's Cave (10)
    • Corroios Fort Ruins (13)

[Combat] - Qualifier: Rains of Palma

  • Victory: Defeat Jasmine
  • Defeat: Leda or Orchel or Anatolia fall in battle.
  • Strategy: Split your team into two, with one going N and one going E. Make sure each group can take out armored enemies with magic, Flyssa, Hammer, Halberd. Partway through the battle, you'll have to hit switches to nullify Pure Water effects.
  • Notes:
    • The items thrown on the battlefield are Quality Weapon Crates
    • Orchel will gain a Hammer weapon partway through the match.
    • Keep in mind that Orchel, Anatolia, and Sha Lan all have Heal.
    • Anatolia and Sha Lan have Salmanders, which work well against armored enemies.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 6 - The Soaring Maiden

  • This chapter starts with a quick tutorial for the Vandahl Trading Company, which sells items for trade instead of gold.

Free Time 3

Start: 5/9
End: 5/28

  • The Blacksmith also opens now, which is used to power up weapons.
    • There's a quick Bulletin Board subquest called "Ever Employed A Blacksmith?' you should knock out for a Smithing Stone and 10R.
    • This will not appear if you've already completed a protagonist route.
  • Optional Scenes
    • Talk with Olympia in the Temple Row area.
    • Talk to Alexandra in town (she's in the City Streets area), then see an optional event in Lowtown (highlighted as a pulsing ring on the map)

Perform Quests

Dance for Raivo Port

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 180R (also Sweet Leaves, Gift Box, 5000G)
End: 9/1
Dance for Zoste

Objective: Perform at the destination.
Reward: 180R (also Sweet Leaves, Vegetable Crate, 5000G)
End: 9/1

Chapter Suggestions

  • You can bring 7 units into the next battle, so consider recruiting a seventh member. If you want to stick to a primary six, though, you should be fine.
  • You may want to pick up a Specialty License or two from towns, just to make sure you have enough to rank up your main team in the next chapter.
  • Remember, you can use Kalla's Gate to quickly get to the Thaleia region.

[Combat] - Qualifier: Silver Knights of Tellus

  • Victory: Defeat Alexandra
  • Defeat: Leda, Dietrich, or Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: Let the enemies come to you; don't charge ahead recklessly.
  • Notes:
    • Theodora's max HP will decrease during this battle, due to scripted Bursts, so be careful with her.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 7 - Rose of Retribution

Free Time 4

Start: 5/29
End: 6/28

  • No special events, tutorials, or optional scenes to start this chapter. So start your usual weekly chores and collect the quests available.
  • Note: As you reach Renown levels 7 and 8, you'll unlock the Theater and Thermae options in Dagsion, respectively. If this you first playthrough, you'll find tutorial bulletin board quests The Magic of the Theater! and Beauty and Health at the Thermae.

Popular Drink Recipes

Objective: Deliver Bitter Leaves, requires Renown 8
Reward: Song of Passion+, 200R, new drinks
End: 11/27
Note: You'll get Bitter Leaves in Chapter 10, so don't worry about this for a while.

Chapter Suggestions

  • You should aim to have your team reach Specialty classes by now, which requires Renown 4, Level 20, and certain skill grades.
  • This is a decent time to start exploring the western desert in the Nysiades region, at least a little bit. Be careful, as enemies here may be a little tough at this point. It's better to explore more fully in Chapter 9.
  • Get a Cleansing Blade or two. You can get one at Vandahl for 3x Ladon Pike, or in the far west town of Osiris for 2100G.
  • You should try to complete dungeons up to around level 20, which include:
    • Hundred Hole Cave (14)
    • Masked Woods (15)
    • Fort Hayn (18)
    • Dione Fort (18)
    • Valhalla Mine (20)

[Combat] - Taking the Carriage

  • Victory: Defeat Lechner
  • Defeat: Leda Falls in battle
  • Strategy: Remember to use Cleaning Blades and armor-piercing weapons.
  • Notes:
    • You can use the onagers near the starting point to deal some damage to the early enemies.
    • Maria will periodically summon more combatants. Note that she can be defeated in this battle before defeating Lechner, although this doesn't change any outcome besides some good EXP.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 8 - Shape of the Conspiracy

  • At the start of this chapter, you have to head to the tavern and examine barrels, which leads to a long series of scenes.
  • You'll eventually be back in the city for Chapter 8's short Free Time.

Free Time 5

Start: 6/30
End: 7/9

Chapter Suggestions

  • This is a short chapter, so simply focus on quests.

[Combat] - Qualifier Braganca Brotherhood

  • Victory: Defeat Inyoni
  • Defeat: Leda, Cai, Talimun falls in battle
  • Strategy: Remember to use Cleansing Blades and armor-piercing weapons.
  • Notes:
    • Can pick up Cleansing Blade near the start.
    • Talimun has Heal; Tialla has Heal and Physic.
    • Inyoni will shoot a long-range arrow every third turn, so make sure HP is topped off.
    • Use ZL to track the Ballista's range to avoid a squishy unit getting in the line of fire.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 9 - Discordance

Free Time 6

Start: 7/12
End: 9/1

  • Optional Scenes - At 18:00 (on any day, I believe), there is a scene with Sirocco in Temple Row. When you have control again, follow Sirocco to the road leading to Hightown (in between Temple Rows) for another scene.

Chapter Suggestions

  • While you cannot buy Advanced Licenses in Dagsion until Chapter 10, you may be able to buy some in Megaira to upgrade some units into Advanced Classes.
  • This is a long free time. Focus on quests that expire on 9/1. Note that Leda's story skips over most of September, so also be sure to complete quests that end on 10/15.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to explore the desert region, which is needed for some quests and will help you gain levels.
  • At this point, you may be able to take on most dungeons and skirmishes, with the highest being level 35 in the Saveilon region to the SE.
  • You should try to get Da Mina weapons for your main team, as well as replacing Javelins and Hand Axes with Short Spears and Short Axes.

[Combat] - Main Match: Battle vs. Cai

  • Victory: Defeat Cai
  • Defeat: Leda Falls in battle
  • Strategy: Go slow to start, as Maria will summon several enemies near the starting point on turn 3.
  • Notes:
    • Buccar will defect during this battle on the first turn. Don't worry, he will still be with your team after the battle.
    • You can use explosives around the battlefield to heavily damage enemies.
    • On turn 3, Maria summons undead units and turns the Demonic Beast against you.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 10 - A Father's Request and a Daughter's Wish

Free Time 7

Start: 9/28
End: 10/15

  • Anna's Shop - Anna's shop will occasionally appear north of Temple Row, offering an assortment of valuable items, and her stock changes throughout the game. Check it out if you see the shop icon on the map.
  • Paralogue Tutorial - Paralogue battles start to appear in Chapter 10. These optional battles show up on specified days. For Leda, only one Paralogue is available in this chapter. Talk to Anatolia between 10/5 and 10/14.
  • Trial Battle - Unique to Leda's route, a level 30 Trial Battle is available at Kalla's Main Temple. This is a Clash Battle. This rewards you with Kalla's Bow.

Perform Quests

  • Paralogues will start to appear in this chapter. The key things to know about Paralogues are:
    • Not every protagonist can access every Paralogue.
    • Paralogues are only available during limited windows of opportunity. You can miss these if you are not careful.
    • While this walkthrough will mention all Paralogues available for Leda, you can check out our Paralogue Guide for full details.
Queen of the Erased (Anatolia's Paralogue)

Available: 10/5-10/14 from Anatolia in City Streets
Reward: Electron Agitator, 20,000G, 150R (also Spellshard, Dew of Peace if all villagers are saved)
End: 10/17

Chapter Suggestions

  • You'll want one person, if not two, with Physic for the next match. Olympia should have this by now.

[Combat] - Semifinal: Battle vs. Theodora

  • Victory: Defeat Theodora
  • Defeat: Leda dies
  • Strategy: There are quite a few armored enemies in this match, so be sure to have Flyssa, Hammer, Halberd, or magic.
  • Notes:
    • When Theodora threatens to do Earthen Hurl, flip a lever.

Chapter Suggestions

  • Continue to explore regions you need to, training up units as much as possible. You may be reaching Advanced Classes by now.
  • Be sure to upgrade weapons with the Blacksmith.
  • Aurora's Blessing will come in very useful in this chapter's main battle.

[Combat] - Showdown Vs. Martila

  • Objective: Defeat Martila and Guillermo
  • Defeat: Leda falls in battle.
  • Strategy: This is a fairly difficult battle. If you are having trouble, I suggest not splitting up your team and bunching up for this map.
  • Notes:
    • Use Song of Icewater on the Acid. This will help a lot in avoiding damage.
    • Martila summons many enemies around the battlefield for the first seven(?) turns. Then she casts Song of Passion / Song of Icewater.
    • Kill Guillermo first. Then Martila will be available.

Leda's Path - Part 1 Chapter 12 - Revenge's End

Free Time 9

Starts: 11/7
End: 11/27

Chapter Suggestions

  • This is your last chapter, so wrap up what you need to.
  • Recruit any characters you want to take into the next part.

[Combat] - Finals: Battle vs. Bertrand

  • Victory: Defeat Bertrand
  • Defeat: Leda Falls in battle
  • Strategy:  Lure Gaitz out from the center path as soon as possible and take him out. Use a sturdy unit to do this, since they may be attacked by the long-range weapons. At the same time, take out the SW and SE long-range artillery. Then, split into two teams and take the East/West paths. Be sure to stay out of ballistae range and to use the protection tiles.
  • Notes:
    • Flames start to spread from the starting spot on Turn 7, so you have to keep moving north. Try to take out Gaitz quickly within the first 5-6 turns, then move.
    • When taking out Bertrand, you can leave a person behind on the W and E sides of the map to hit him with artillery. Just watch out for the fire.
    • Each chest on the map contains a Luxury Weapon Crate.

From here, you can begin Part II: War.
