Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition is coming to Switch 2 on February 25, 2027

Nintendo has announced that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is coming to Switch 2 as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition. 

This version features a new difficulty, more enemies, enhanced performance, and more. Existing owners can purchase it for a discount.

Save data carries over as well. The upgrade applies to physical owners as well as revealed on the eShop:

If you have the physical version of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity game, you can activate your discount by inserting the game card into your Nintendo Switch 2 system, updating the game to Ver 1.4.0 or later, launching the game, and selecting "Proceed to Nintendo eShop" from the main menu. An internet connection is required to download the update. If you have the digital version, your discount is automatically activated for your Nintendo Account.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now available on Switch. It launches on February 25, 2027 for Switch 2.
