Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo gets expanded playable content today

Capcom has published a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword at the pre-show segment of the Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live stream. The company also shadow-dropped an update to the free demo version, which adds more playable content accessible to everyone.

You can find the new trailer with Japanese and English voiceover versions right below. Onimusha: Way of the Sword is slated for release on September 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam, Epic, Microsoft).
