Brief teasers of Rune Factory 6 and new Story of Seasons game shown at the anniversary stream

Marvelous has formally published teaser trailers for the next Story of Seasons game and Rune Factory 6 at the end of the double anniversary stream for both franchises. The company confirms that the development teams for each respective series are now working on these titles.

While the next Story of Seasons game still has not been named yet, the new Rune Factory game is explicitly confirmed to be Rune Factory 6. As a refresher, the first confirmation of Rune Factory 6 appeared back in May 2023 (unless you count the then-untitled new game announcement in September 2022). After the Rune Factory team had completed their work on the Eastern-oriented Guardians of Azuma, they are now working on the main numbered sequel that is supposed to be Western-themed.
