Guild Wars 3 behind-the-scenes video released showcasing Lead Composer Kazuma Jinnouchi

ArenaNet has shared a new Guild Wars 3 behind-the-scenes video going over the original score featuring lead composer Kazuma Jinnouchi.

Alongside the behind-the-scenes video, the official Guild Wars 3 main theme is available to stream on multiple platforms as well. Guild Wars 3 is in development for PS5 and PC (Steam). You can wishlist it here and sign up for a chance to play it on the official website.

Today ArenaNet released a new behind-the-scenes video showcasing the creation of the Guild Wars 3 original score. BAFTA Games Awards nominee Kazuma Jinnouchi, known for his work on franchises like Halo, Star Wars, Metal Gear, and Ghost in the Shell, takes the helm as the game’s lead composer. He will be joined by contributing composers Asuka Ito, whose credits include compositions for Nintendo franchises like Rhythm Heaven and Pilotwings, and longtime GuildWars 2 composer Maclaine Diemer.

Today also marks the release of the title track ‘Guild Wars 3 Main Theme’ featured in the video. Available to stream today on most major music platforms, it is also purchasable on iTunes and Bandcamp. 

Joining Kazuma in discussing the music are Guild Wars 3 audio lead Chase Thompson and music lead Nadia Wheaton, who delve into the inspirations and creative philosophy behind the game’s title theme and score, giving a peek behind the curtain at the orchestra recording sessions with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra earlier this year.
