Super Robot Wars DD is starting to gear up for the finale with the upcoming Main Story Chapter 5
Super Robot Wars DD has been ongoing for around 7 years, but Bandai Namco appears to be starting to plan for the finale of the mobile game's main story. At the Super Robot Wars 35th anniversary stream, Producer Matsumoto revealed that the upcoming Chapter 5 will feature the last episodes of the game's storyline.
The team will beforehand release Chapter 4 Part 10 in late August. This part will be the last one in Chapter 4 before the team starts the final Chapter 5 storyline. Part 10 will let players newly unlock Kira Yamato's Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam and Athrun Zala's Infinite Justice Gundam Type-2 from Gundam SEED Freedom, so it is also expected to feature the remainder of the movie's storyline as well.

In addition, Matsumoto's team will launch a new Crossing Pilot R episode that will be available temporarily on August 10-31. This will continue a previous crossover where the Shin Getter 1 is being piloted by the three Evangelion pilots (Asuka, Shinji, and Rei), and it will also give them a new Stoner Sunshine attack with an A.T. Field crossover element.
