Starsand Island full release date confirmed simultaneously worldwide on August 18

Seed Sparkle Lab has confirmed the full release date of Starsand Island. The island life simulation game will leave Early Access and have its formal release simultaneously worldwide on August 18 at 05:00 AM PDT / 08:00 AM EDT / 13:00 BST / 20:00 SGT / 21:00 JST.

The Early Access build launched first on Xbox Series and PC via Steam last February. In a Japanese press release, the studio added that they will also bring the full release to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 as well.

The official Starsand Island channel on YouTube also has a new release date announcement trailer uploaded with Japanese and English voiceover versions available separately. You can find both right below, though be advised that YouTube automatically applies its auto-dubbing feature on the Japanese trailer by default if your site language is set to English.

We're excited to announce that Starsand Island Version 1.0 will officially launch on August 18, 2026, at 5:00 AM PDT!

Version 1.0 introduces online multiplayer for up to four players, allowing you to farm, fish, build, explore, and enjoy island life together.
