Onimusha: Way of the Sword Nintendo Switch 2 resolution and frame rate targets revealed

Capcom has revealed that Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Nintendo Switch 2 will run at an upscaled 1080p 30fps docked and upscaled 900p 30fps handheld.

The offiical Onimusha: Way of the Sword product page confirms this and also mentions the option to use a variable 30-40fps frame rate instead of 30fps on Switch 2. A demo is currently available on PS5, Xbox, and Steam. The Switch 2 demo will be available at a later date.

Capcom also has the PlayStation and Xbox console technical details listed on the same page, but there are no PS5 Pro details. The PS5 Pro version supports ray tracing, not present on other consoles, based on my testing.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC (Steam), and Switch 2 on September 25.
