Final Fantasy XIV Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay trailer released

Square Enix has shared a new Final Fantasy XIV Switch 2 gameplay trailer today.

The trailer is just over 30 seconds long and it reconfirms the August 2026 release month for the upcoming Switch 2 port. If you missed the announcement, you need an additional subscription to also play on Switch 2 if you play FFXIV on other platforms. Read about it here. Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, macOS, and PC. Dawntrail and FFXIV launch this August for Switch 2.
