Kingdom Hearts IV is coming to Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC
Square Enix published a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV at the June 2026 Nintendo Direct. Not long after the stream concluded, the company announced that the new sequel is coming to not only Nintendo Switch 2 but also PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store.
The company has also published a standalone version of the trailer that appeared in the Nintendo Direct with Japanese and English voiceovers available separately. In addition, they have shared new screenshots with comparisons between the Switch 2 and other platforms. You can find all of them right below.

A new installment in the action role-playing series developed and published by SQUARE ENIX, KINGDOM HEARTS IV follows protagonist Sora and some familiar characters as they journey through the mysterious city of Quadratum. Sora will once again journey to various worlds, where new figures cross his path and new powers awaken in this next chapter. KINGDOM HEARTS IV will launch for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S and PC. More details about the game will be revealed in the future.
