The Kingdom Hearts series is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series on October 8 (Update)
Square Enix has announced that the Kingdom Hearts series is making its way to Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series on October 8. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX + Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX launches for Switch 1 the same day.
This includes Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX + Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX together, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III with the Re Mind DLC. You can buy each of these three titles separately or together with the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece that bundles them all together.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX + Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III with the Re Mind DLC are now available on PS4, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC. The three releases come to Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series, and Xbox on PC with the first collection for Switch 1 on October 8.

Today, SQUARE ENIX revealed exciting new details about the KINGDOM HEARTS franchise. Fans and newcomers to the series can look forward to the release of the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III], coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S and PC via Microsoft Store on Windows.
SQUARE ENIX also announced that a free demo for KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind on Nintendo Switch 2 is available starting today. The demo will include two parts:
- The beginning of the game through the early stages of Olympus, the world inspired by Disney’s Hercules. Save data from this section will carry over to the full game at launch.
- From the start to the middle part of Toy Box World, the world inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story. Save data from this section will not carry over to the full game at launch.

The KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] is a streamlined, all-in-one bundle. The collection features KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC), all available natively (non-cloud) on current-generation consoles.
