Veritas Tales: Witch of the Dark Castle releases on July 9 for PC via Steam

15 Industry and Digitalis Publishing have confirmed the full release date for Veritas Tales: Witch of the Dark Castle. The game will be formally available for PC via Steam on July 9.

The game had been unveiled earlier at the April 2026 Indie Live Expo, but the Steam page has also since been updated with details on the developers. The main developer Yoshio Nishimura had previously worked in Capcom for the first Monster Hunter entry and then in Vanillaware for titles like Odin Sphere, Dragon's Crown, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

In addition, the page also reveals that this game's soundtrack is being composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and his company Basiscape, which were also involved in the Vanillaware entries.
