Snack World Reloaded is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam

Level-5 has revealed Snack World Reloaded at the Level-5 Vision 2026 "Craftmanship" stream. Although the company has yet to announce a release window, they have confirmed the platforms to be Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

This game works as a remake to Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold, which was released for the first Nintendo Switch in Japan in April 2018 and the West in February 2020.

However, Akihiro Hino noted that the company will rework the gameplay and control systems, to the point that this will feel like a brand-new game. This remake will also have a new mode with a new story view from the perspective of the Snack World anime protagonist Chup.

Shortly after the stream ended, Level-5 has also uploaded a standalone trailer for Snack World Reloaded. You can also watch it right below.

Level-5's popular action RPG Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold is set to return in a newly reimagined form as Snack World: Reloaded.

With significantly enhanced graphics, the game is developed to deliver an immersive experience that feels like stepping into a beautifully crafted diorama.

A new game mode is also planned, allowing players to take control of Chup, the anime's protagonist, and experience the story from his perspective.

With major refinements to gameplay and controls, along with a new story viewpoint, the game is being developed as a remake of such scale it could almost be considered an entirely new title.

It is planned for release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam worldwide.
