Narrative-focused farming sim Delphinium announced for Xbox and PC
Publisher Serenity Forge and developer Cinnadev have announced Delphinium, a narrative-focused farming sim set to release for Xbox consoles and PC (Steam) in 2027.
Cinnadev is a small development team based in Adelaide, South Australia, aiming to create character-driven games with a strong focus on queer characters and narratives. A demo for Delphinium was available behind closed doors to media attendees at GDC 2026.

Publisher Serenity Forge and developer Cinnadev today revealed Delphinium, their cozy narrative farming sim,which will launch on PC and Xbox consoles in 2027 with Xbox Play Anywhere support. This bittersweet and cozy adventure is playable for the first time this week behind closed doors at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Festival of Gaming 2026 in San Francisco.
Several years ago, Haiyan left her village to follow her older brother on a quest to rebuild their war-torn homeland. She never planned to return, but fate dragged her back to her roots after her brother’s execution brought an end to the movement. Now grief-stricken and directionless, Haiyan must piece her life back together while restoring her quiet village of outcasts. Every decision will shape her future and lead her to branching paths with diverging endings. Will she stay and help foster her community, or will she seek independence and a new beginning?
In Delphinium, every action deepens relationships and drives an unfolding story across a dynamic day and night cycle, brought to life through emotionally impactful narrative events. Chat with fellow villagers to learn more about their pasts and unlock new conversations, conflicts, and choices that shape Haiyan’s story. Spend your time completing daily quests, growing your garden, or catching fish and cooking meals that can be given as gifts to fellow townsfolk.

This hands-on experience gives an exclusive preview of the first chapter for Delphinium’s emotional adventure and total freedom to explore its detailed world and cozy gameplay loop.
