Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, announced today that it has revealed the console version of its upcoming action RPG Mongil: Star Dive (developed by Netmarble Monster) for the very first time at Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2025.

TGS 2025, held from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, marks the first time in the company’s history that Netmarble has hosted a dedicated booth for the event. The booth features 24 demo stations, including 12 running on PlayStation 5, offering attendees the opportunity to experience the console version of Mongil: Star Dive firsthand.

The development team carried out extensive optimization to deliver a seamless console experience in addition to PC and mobile platforms. The PS5 version includes full support for the DualSense wireless controller, as well as a console-specific HUD (Heads-Up Display) and user interface enhancements designed for gamepad play.

“We are committed to delivering a new level of enjoyment that can only be experienced on the console version of Mongil: Star Dive,” said Jung Ho Lee, Game Publishing Director at Netmarble, and added “Our goal is to provide players with diverse and optimized experiences across all platforms, and we are preparing thoroughly to achieve the objective.”

As the long-awaited sequel to the hit 2013 mobile RPG Monster Taming, Mongil: Star Dive features cinematic storytelling powered by Unreal Engine 5, dynamic tag-based combat with three-character parties, and the signature “Monsterling Collection” system that allows players to capture, collect, and synthesize monsters as companions. The game is scheduled for global release in the second half of 2025 across multiple platforms including PC and mobile, and global pre-registration is currently underway.

In addition to hands-on demos, Netmarble is also hosting a variety of special programs at TGS 2025, including a cosplay showcase, a live voice actor talk show, and raid boss battle stage events. Visitors who stop by the booth and participate in activities will be able to receive exclusive goodies such as Nyanners stuffed toy, Monsterling keychains, and character stickers.
