Falcom has announced a new Dragon Slayer project to celebrate the company's 45th anniversary.

If you aren't familiar with Falcom's Dragon Slayer series, the first game, an action RPG, was released back in 1984 for the PC-8801. The Dragon Slayer series is considered one of the most important ones for the action RPG genre as a whole. Both Falcom's Xanadu series and The Legend of Heroes series spun off from Dragon Slayer titles - and the modern Trails series is a subset of The Legend of Heroes.
