Rei Kamiya
Voiced by Hiiro Ishibashi, 17 years old, wields Uchigatana & Wakizashi-type equipment
A 17-year-old high schooler who ends up studying at the Hirasaka Academy after a certain incident.
Even though he still has some boyish nature remaining, he behaves in a nonchalant way as though he can see through everything. He acts on his own pace while trifling with people around him, for better or worse.
On the day he transferred to the school, Rei made a bold declaration that he "would completely conquer Hirasaka's Great Labyrinth". His classmates laughed at this, but he isn't just talking big. Rei would gradually involve his friends by using strategies, and sometimes would even forcefully utilize able students as platforms for him to rise to greater heights.
Fuka Rikudo
Voiced by Coco Hayashi, 17 years old, wields Naginata-type equipment
A second-year student in the Hirasaka Academy; she is registered in the same class as Rei.
A Japanese-style beauty with the black straight hair suiting her, along with a quiet and serious personality.
She has excellent talents as the eldest daughter of the Rikudo, one of the famous clans in Kyoto. But she has complex feelings towards her elder brother Masayuki, who serves as the student council president with overwhelming authority.
This causes Fuka to suppress herself and have a modest school life without trying to stand out, which leads to some around her to criticize by labeling her as "good for nothing". Fuka herself would seem content with it at first, but Rei's transfer will bring a major change to her.
Kazuki Nakiri
Voiced by Ryota Suzuki, 18 years old, wields War Axe-type equipment
A delinquent senior who acts like a lone wolf and is feared in the Hirasaka Academy.
He fights inside the Labyrinth to unleash the fierce urge to destroy things he has to hide in public. But when it comes to his sister Sena, he no longer hesitates to use violence to protect her, even when he has to face other humans.
Kazuki may look rough, but he also has good intelligence. He can take a lot of strategic options when exploring the Labyrinth.
Sena Nakiri
Voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro, 18 years old, wields Mace & Shield-type equipment
The younger twin sister of Kazuki, Sena is a good-mannered senior with an overwhelming girl power.
While she tries to act like an elder sister to Rei, she tends to quickly come to wrong conclusions when it comes to romance and ends up self-destructing herself in the process.
Due to an incident during her middle school years, Sena becomes afraid of getting close to other people more than necessary, and there are also some kind of unsolved trouble between Sena and Kazuki as they go through their school lives.
Rurui
Voiced by Aoi Koga
A mysterious girl whom Rei will meet inside the Labyrinth. Her uniquely clumsy speech and sense of presence describe the most about her, who looks like a child around 10 years old, yet her actual age is still unknown.
She appears and disappears at unexpected times, sometimes suddenly appearing at Rei's home or blending herself into the Labyrinth's exploration team.
Rurui has absolutely no knowledge of the common sense in the general public, that nobody could guess well what she is thinking. But she has an overwhelming appetite that she basically gets to eat anything.
Masayuki Rikudo
Voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi, 18 years old, wields Odachi-type equipment
As the student council president who wields overwhelming authority in the Hirasaka Academy, he is also the leader of the top-ranked team Eleven O'Clock.
He has a strict personality towards both himself and others, and always unleashes a silent air of intimidation that forces people around him to submit.
Masayuki is revered by many people for having a definite ability and leadership. But on the other side, he treats his sister Fuka in an unusually cold and rough way.
Shu Kadenokoji
Voiced by Kazuki Ura, 18 years old, wields Folding Fan & Amulet-type equipment
The sub-leader of the Eleven O'Clock team, known for his witty behavior and his distinctly elegant Kyoto dialect.
He comes from a family lineage that has produced generations of leaders for the Onmyo Bureau under the Japanese government that deals with the underworld. There have been occasions where he acts as a representative of the Onmyo Bureau in the academy.
Even though Shu has a complete contrast of personalities with his childhood friend Masayuki, the two of them often act in unison. Shu is also well-acquainted with Fuka since her childhood days.
Lady Toushu
Voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi, 40 years old
A mysterious woman who hides her face behind a mask, while working as the headmaster of Hirasaka Academy.
She gathers specific kinds of people to the academy to compete for the conquest of the Great Hirasaka Labyrinth, ranging from people related to major factions to unrelated people with suitable qualifications like Rei. However, she basically does not interfere with the actions taken by each of them, as if she is enjoying something from watching how these people take their paths.
LinoN
Voiced by Hina Aoki
A virtual singer with a gifted singing voice, and is popularly known worldwide; the protagonist Rei is a huge fan of her.
Through the fantastically designed avatar, she performs various kinds of songs. But around a year ago, she took a sudden hiatus, which caused various speculations to appear to guess the truth.
Ren Amano
Voiced by Takeo Otsuka, 17 years old, wields Kurikara Sword-type equipment
The vice president of Hirasaka Academy's school council, this 2nd-year student is also the leader of the high-ranked team Futen (Vault of Heaven).
As the son of a distinguished family that runs the Amano Group, the conglomerate that represents Japan, he shows elegant behavior, yet he is not boastful of that as he also candidly mingles with students from the lower ranks.
When Rei Kamiya declared to "completely conquer Hirasaka's Great Labyrinth" on his transfer day, Ren seems to notice that this is not a simple bluff.
Zoya
Voiced by Chiharu, 17 years old, wields Shashka Sword-type equipment
A female student who is also a member of Amano's Futen team, she is notable for her tall figure and short-cut hair.
She has an impulsive personality and often lunges directly to the other party while leaving behind Chisa and Rachana, who often move together with her.
Zoya does not seem to comprehend why Ren is interested in the transfer student Rei, so she shows a very aggressive attitude against the latter.
Chisa
Voiced by Mika Kohinata, 16 years old, wields Kunai-type equipment
A member of Amano's Futen team known for her small posture and black hair that hides her eyes.
She has a rather withdrawn personality, and often gets suppressed from stating her own opinion due to Zoya's overwhelming spirit.
However, Chisa is also known to have mastered assassination skills with her Kunai-type equipment, so there are rumors stating that Chisa is the most dangerous one when she is taken seriously.
Rachata
Voiced by Kazuki Asami, 17 years old, wields Bow-type equipment
A member of the Futen team who has a calm and intellectual atmosphere.
She sees through situations with a keen mind, and she can also act as a balancer between Zoya and Chisa.
Rachata also has a high degree of loyalty towards the team leader Ren, and she is willing to do anything for him, as long as it's within the rational limits.
