Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection releases for Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2026

The Japanese version of the September 2025 Nintendo Direct had an exclusive reveal of Ryusei no Rockman Perfect Collection, which will be available in 2026. But soon after this, Capcom confirmed that they will release the compilation worldwide as Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection for not only Nintendo Switch but also PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.

Capcom has also published an official reveal trailer to go with the announcement, but the Japanese Nintendo Direct reveal had many more details. The latter shows how this compilation will have the native DS games' screens would be crammed to a single screen with customizable screen positions.

In addition, it is confirmed that this compilation will also have online friend registration and versus modes. However, Capcom's official website added a caveat that there will be no cross-platform support.

The full list of the titles and versions featured is as follows:

  • Mega Man Star Force: Leo, Dragon, and Pegasus
  • Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker X Ninja and Zerker X Saurian
  • Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace and Red Joker

As a side note, Star Force 2 actually consists of three versions like the first one, but the Zerker version was available on both separate packages. This would also play into the iteration's Double Tribe feature, where the Zerker pairs were available in-game, but the Ninja X Saurian one would have to be unlocked via the communications feature.

You can find both trailers right below. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is currently slated to be available in Japanese, English, and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified).
