Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Part III: Salvation Walkthrough
You've now completed Part II: War (maybe more than once), and now you've moved to the final part of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. This is RPG Site's Part III: Salvation Walkthrough
Part III: Salvation is accessed through the Door of Destiny in the Obelisk Chamber. While you can head through this door whenever you want, it's best to do this after completing route(s) on the Strife Obelisk, so that you can bring in units from the Heroic Games into the game's final section.
This guide is written from the perspective assuming that all Part I Paths have been brought into Part III. If any paths were omitted, some characters or functions may be unavailable.
One final note -the game calls them 'Sections' instead of Chapters for Part III. This guide may use the terms interchangeably.
Part III: Salvation First Section - The Liberation of Dagsion
- At the beginning of this chapter, you'll run through a small section of Dagsion with a couple of class battles along the way.
- Head to the marker for your first battle.
[Combat] - Battle vs. Dagda
- Victory: Defeat Dagda.
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle.
- Strategy: This is a somewhat challenging battle, even if your Part I lords are well-trained. Use the bonus floor titles to your advantage, and have your units meet in the center, knocking out golems and other enemies before tackling Dagda.
- Notes:
- You can set your Blessings on the preparations screen before the battle.
- Dagda will summon reinforcements on his first two turns. More reinforcements will come periodically throughout the battle.
- Cai, Theodora, and Betrand will join on Turn 3.
- Leda, Theodora, and Anatolia will join on Turn 5.
- Orchel and Talimun will join on Turn 7.
- Using Orchel's 'Strahl' and Cai's 'Blackfire' Blaze Arts on Dagda will help take out most of his shield.
Part III: Salvation Second Section - True Strength
- This is where Part III truly begins. All of your weapons and items from all routes will be available in your storage.
- Any characters that you've recruited earlier in the game can be found throughout Dagsion to be recruited, as long as you've completed Part II: War for the route they were recruited on.
- If the same character was recruited on multiple routes, you get to choose which version of the character to recruit.
- The game will introduce a Merge Causality function, which lets you spend Karma Shards to merge character stats from multiple versions into one. This is most valuable if you've trained up a character in varying ways in multiple paths.
- If this is done, note that stats are not simply additive. Higher stats will supersede lower stats.
- You gain an automatic subquest at the start of this Section called 'Arena Construction Effort'. You can find this quest and all other available quests in the Subquest section below.
- You can create two squads to navigate the world map. While there are fewer turns to work with compared to Part I, each squad can be moved each turn, meaning you get two actions per turn.
- In future chapters, you'll be able to create even more squads, up to five squads in Fifth Section. This makes navigating the world map and collecting resources more convenient later on.
- Eshmel does not join a squad. They will be able to join any battle while staying in Dagsion.
- A big component of Part III is repairing the various locations on the world map. Head to a location and spend the items stated to start the repair. A certain number of turns will need to pass before the repair is complete.

Dungeons and Keys of the Diadem
- At this point in the game, all of the dungeons have been updated with higher-level enemies and new treasure chest content.
- You can find details of chest content in the dungeons in our Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Dungeons Guide.
- Also note that the enemy levels in the dungeons will increase slightly in each chapter in Part III.
- A special item you'll find in dungeons in Part III is called a Key of the Diadem. There are five of these in total, and these will let you unlock the game's ultimate Divine Classes starting in Part III: Fourth Section. Keep an eye out for these as you explore.
- Keys of Diadem locations:
- Heretics' Cave
- Cougar Woodlands
- Sand-Shadow Fort
- Enno isle
- Giant's-Print Fort
Mission Time 1
Start: 2/11
End: 2/15
- In addition to Free Time, Part III introduces a second exploration section called Mission Time. Here, your squads will need to dispel miasma-corrupted locations before tackling the Section's main battle.
- While there is only one Gate to deal with for now, note that later Sections in Part III have more than one Gate to deal with during Mission Time.
- During this time, you'll also need to prevent Dagsion from attack from enemy forces. Be sure to intercept enemies on the world map to complete a Clash before they can damage the city.
- Any squad on the Gate or adjacent to the Gate will be able to participate in the main Gate Battle.
- In some later Gate Battles, large deployment allotments are allowed, so you'll want multiple squads at the gate when you commence the battle.
- If you finish a Gate Battle before Mission Time is over, you'll still be able to explore the world map for the remaining turns. That means there's no reason to wait to commence a battle, assuming you are ready for it.
- Make sure your battle squad for this chapter has bow-users available.
[Combat] - Battle vs Breza
- Victory: Defeat Breza.
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle.
- Strategy: This battle has many flying units. Make sure you bring a squad with bow-users, as it'll make this battle much easier. For this battle, I suggest staying put to start, turtling up as you are assaulted from all sides. Keep fragile units in the center. Once the assault lightens up, start heading north to the boss.
- Notes:
- Reinforcements will come for the SE and SW sides of the map
- Several Rukhs will reinforce on the NW and NE sides of the map.
Part III: Salvation Third Section - The Inheritors
Free Time 2
Start: 2/16
End: 2/25
- Optional Scene - Fortuna in Entertainment District
- You can now create three squads for world map exploration.

End: 6/6
Note: Requires 'Lost Flavors of the Capital'
Objective: Deliver 5x Building Material
Reward: 5000G, 100R, increase the effect of meals
End: 6/6
God Requests
- Each of the six Dagsion gods will have a request in Part III. In order to access these requests, you need to repair each god's temple on the world map.
- Each quest can be found in the god's respective Temple, with the exception of Aurora, who is found in Dagsion.
- After each quest, you'll be able to complete a level 60 Trial Clash to obtain a reward. Be sure to do this when you have a capable clash team.
- Credna can also upgrade Eshmel's Spear during Part III. I believe this only becomes possible once his quest is completed. Keep this in mind for later.

[Combat] - Battle vs. Shenlo
- Victory: Defeat Shenlo.
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle.
- Strategy: This battle is fairly straightforward. At this point, use your strongest units and move slowly from SE to NW.
- Notes:
- Some enemies with Box items will flee the map to the NW: Da Mina Smithy Box, Craft Smithy Box, Iron Smithy Box, Bronze Smithy Box. Take these out quickly if you care to grab the drops.
- Watch out for the unit with a Salamander in the center of the map.
- The miasma in this battle will lower weapon durability.

Mission Time 3
Start: 3/22
End: 4/5
- This chapter has two Gate Battles. That means you need to manage the world map assault from two directions at once.
[Combat] - Battle vs. Hanno
- Location: Ere Mountains
- Victory: Defeat Hanno
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle
- Strategy: This battle allows for up to 17 characters to participate, meaning that you'll need at least two squads to assault the gate. The boss of this level is found in the SE corner of the map. Not only is this map full of fog, but much of it is forest, along with varying elevations. Flying units will help out on this map, while mounted units will struggle.
- Notes:
- The miasma in this battle will reduce a character's visibility
- Credna's Blessing will help out in this battle tremendously.
[Combat] - Battle vs. Baozi
- Location: Daimos Plateau
- Victory: Defeat Bazoi
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle
- Strategy: This battle is more straightforward.
- Notes:
- Pride Miasma lowers accuracy. Avoid it as much as possible.
Part III: Salvation Firth Section - Song of the Living
- Aswan and Tahonia will join at the start of this chapter
Free Time 4
Start: 4/6
End: 4/25
- Optional Scene - Fortuna in Entertainment District
- You can now create five squads for world map exploration.
Mission Time 4
Start: 4/26
End: 5/15
[Combat] - Battle vs. Cohen
- Location: Fort Hecatoncheires
- Victory: Defeat Cohen and Maria
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle
- Strategy: This is a two-squad battle with many enemies. Have one squad move East while the other moves South. Take this battle slow, as you'll be quickly overwhelmed if you over stretch.
- Notes:
- Lust Miasma lowers accuracy and avoidance if the opponent's charisma is higher.
- The Miasma tiles will change every couple of turns
- Several enemies in this battle will start to flee with drop items. These include: White-Magic Treatise, Black-Magic Treatise, Da Mina Smithy Box, Heavy-Armor Treatise, Flying Treatise, Tactics Treatise, Riding Treatise, Treatise Crate x2
- Lust Miasma lowers accuracy and avoidance if the opponent's charisma is higher.
[Combat] - Battle vs. Drake
- Location: The Valley of Death
- Victory: Defeat Drake.
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle
- Strategy: This is a two-squad battle that takes place in the desert. Avoid bringing cavalry and focus on fliers and mages. There are many reinforcements that appear from all sides. If you want to, you can have your two squads ball-up in the center of the screen, or move ahead with two squads northward towards the boss.
- Notes:
- deserrt level
- Envy Miasma appears when defeating enemies. It doubles your Hit but sets Avo to zero against higher levels. Picking up a pirate treasure negates this.
[Combat] - Battle vs. Mahadu
- Location: Kurdelind Ruins
- Victory: Defeat Mahadu
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle
- Strategy: This is a one-squad battle and easily the simplest on this map. Move your team northward and use the forests when you can. Having spear-users will help in this battle.
- Notes:
- Wrath Miasma in this map doubles critical chance but halves defense.
- Klapka and 4 Mosa soldiers assist. If Klapka is kept alive, he'll join your team in the next Section.
Part III: Salvation Sixth Section - To the Edge of Twilight
-
Klapka will join at the start of this Section, assuming he did not die in the previous section.
Free Time 5
Start: 5/16
End: 6/6
Head to Temple of Balor when ready.
[Combat] - Showdown vs. Lyrah
- Victory: Defeat Lyrah.
- Defeat: Eshmel falls in battle.
- Strategy: Defeat Dragon Lyrah as you would any previous large boss. Once she moves to the west side of the map, beeline to her to defeat her as quickly as possible
- Notes:
- Fear miasma causes confusion on this map
- After you defeat Dragon Lyrah, she'll summon enemies all across the map. She'll move to the west side of the map.
[Dungeon] - Temple of Balor
- Before the final battle, you have a final dungeon. It is basically a three-section dungeon.
- The items in each section are as follows:
- Dew of Peace, Speedwing. Dew of Protection
- Seraph Robe, Talisman
- Energy Drop
[Final Battle] - Balor's Last Stand
- Victory: Defeat Balor
- Defeat: Eshmel Falls in battle
- Strategy: You can bring a whopping 25 units into this battle. The main idea is that you want to destroy two gates, which lowers the barrier around Balor, then you can deal damage to him. Balor has four health bars, meaning you need to at least destroy eight gates. Have your strongest character (or two) and a healer stay near Balor, alongside a Dancer. Have them ready to strike as soon as the barrier goes down. Have everyone else focus on the gates. Good luck.
- Notes:
- Obviously, avoid the purple cross-shaped attack indicators when they appear.
